BIO 

Gregory Simmons (American, b. Los Angeles 1984) is a Brooklyn based artist renowned for his oil, pastel, and gouache paintings. Inspired by modern culture and social media, Simmons captures fleeting moments with humor and nostalgia, often incorporating social commentary. Self-taught, he draws from his love of skateboarding and 90s television imagery. Through his work, Simmons explores contemporary identity within the context of media and pop culture, inviting viewers to ponder the nuances of modern existence.
